How does H-Pass work? H-Pass incorporates People, Process and Technology, seamlessly integrating with existing hospital technical infrastructure. After the doctor’s office or the patient schedules services, H-Pass processes the patient and completes the advanced registration process, verifying insurance, checking medical necessity and ABN notification, and identifying the patient financial responsibility via online system and/or phone call. Patient is asked how they would like to fulfill payment of their co-pay or deductible. When the patient arrives at the hospital, it will only take 3 minutes to complete the Assignment of Benefits, Consent Forms and receive a bracelet.
